It is easy to operate a Spanish property through a UK Limited Company and there may be Tax advantages of borrowing through the Company and tax relief may be available rather than repaying personal borrowings from taxable income.
It may also be easier to involve multiple investors in a UK Limited Company rather than the property direct as shareholding and loans in the company are easier to manage than percentages of a property, additionally succession planning is made easier as no Spanish will is required.

It may also be possible to arrange loans from a private pension fund, unlocking cash for this investment. None commercial investment is not usually possible through Pension Funds directly, although they may be able to make property loans to development companies.
